Sheridan graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in July 2019.
Since joining Edwards Sluiters Employment Lawyers in 2024, Sheridan has supported both employer and employee clients across a broad range of matters, including personal grievance disputes, restructuring processes, and restraint of trade issues. Sheridan also has experience in Employment Relations Authority proceedings and in supporting clients through mediation.
Sheridan is passionate about employment law and helping clients achieve pragmatic resolutions to employment issues and disputes.

2026 NZERA 23 – Successful claim for the Respondent’s breach of restraint of trade resulting in penalties and compliance orders.
2025-NZERA 466 – Successful claim for constructive dismissal and unjustified disadvantages.
2022-NZERA-443 – Successfully defended a claim where employment status was challenged following the withdrawal of an offer of employment .
2023-NZEmpC-188 – Successfully defended a challenge by the plaintiff.
2022-NZERA-203 – Successful claim for costs for an employer where the employee withdrew ERA proceedings prior to a hearing taking place.
